Media Team

The Media Team are a group children who tell the school’s story. They are currently working on maths! They are Aisha, Ifrah, Zahi, Leighton, Haleemah and Abdur-Rahman!

The group make videos of special events that take place during school and after school. If a visitor comes to Manley Park Primary we interview them so we can put the notes into our newsletter. We have different recources for our ICT lessons and we love to gather all of the learning that happens in our school and turn it into fabulous news stories.

Haleemah

My duties:

I am responsible for uploading content to the Manley Park school website. I make sure it reads well, makes sense and is up to date. I also make sure it is interesting.

Things about me:

I am a member of Media Team. I enjoy English because I love imaginative, adventurous stories. I also enjoy art because I love creative activities.

Zahi

Hi I’m Zahi, one of the 6 members of the Media Team. I like to do stuff on computers. I do not enjoy writing about myself! I love spending  time in school doing maths, ICT or science and during these times I know exactly what I am doing. I like a challenge I can quite often lose myself in a problem I am thinking about. As a Member of the Media Team I am currently helping to make the math part of the school website.

I will then have to maintain the Math part of the school website, as well as add lots of other exciting content!

Ifrah

I enjoy exploring different art patterns and learning outdoors because I feel close to nature especially when the cool breeze drifts down my neck. Maths is also very special for me due to the  huge amount of brain work required. I also have a particular passion for the fun movements in PE.

As well as being a caring member of the media team I have got other jobs too: Play Leader along with a Mediator. These jobs are perfect for me because they include being trustworthy, responsible and committed to what I have to do!

Aisha

Hello, my name is Aisha Kareem, and I am one of the 6 members of Media Team. I am aiming for a level 6 by the end of the year. I support Manchester City and Manchester United. I enjoy Literacy because I like writing. My favorite subjects are P.E, ICT, and Maths.

I am in 6TP and I like my teacher Ms Page because she is funny and kind. I am sometimes hyper but I am focused in class. I enjoy outdoor learning because it gives us a chance to write and write in the beautiful world of nature. I like maths because I enjoy a lot of brainwork and I also work with Mr Lehmann which is fun!

I am also a mediator and a school counselor.

I enjoy having all these jobs although sometimes it can be hard work! Being a mediator means I have to be aware of conflicts happening between friends so I can resolve their argument and bring them back together. Being a school-counselor is a very important role because we have to make sensible decisions for the school and make it a better place.
